The Connectivity, Mobility and Patient's Comfort (CMPC) workshop is the second international workshop organized In conjunction with 3rd International Conference on Pervasive Computing Technologies for Healthcare 2009.

The aim of this workshop is to bring together all scientists and international players from the globe, who work on CMPC spects helping elderly and patients to be treated and/or after cared safely at own home. The workshop presenters will discuss scientific knowledge related to healthcare technologies from two different but complementary point of view; Engineering (including the development of novel sensory technologies, telemedicine, advanced and secure wireless and mobile technologies), and Medical implementation in healthcare environments (including hospital, clinic, nursing home, private home with focus on patient's compliance and satisfaction).

Authors are requested to submit either full paper (max. 5 pages) or short paper (max. 3 pages) or extended abstract (max. 2 pages) within one or more of the mentioned topics by February 10th, 2009.

The proceedings will be published in IEEE Xplore and distributed locally in a CD. For further details about submission format and guidelines please refer to the Authorskitieee.
 

The CMPC will also present and discuses issues related to developments, applications and business.

  • Wireless technologies for mobile and ubiquitous(Bluetooth, ZigBee, 802.15.x, WiFi)
  • Ad hoc and sensor networks support for ubiquitous computing
  • Rapid prototyping of ubiquitous applications
